Last updated: July 3, 2026 · CoachMe: AI Sports Coach, by VZT Tech Consulting.
CoachMe ("we," "us") helps athletes analyze their sports technique from video. This policy explains
what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We designed CoachMe to collect as little as possible and
to never sell your data or use your training videos to track you across other apps or companies.
Information we collect
Account information — your email address (or Apple ID via Sign in with Apple) so you
can sign in and we can secure your account. If you use Sign in with Apple's private-relay email, we only
ever see the relay address.
Training content — the videos you record or import for analysis, the on-device pose
data derived from them, and the resulting form scores, cues, combine results, and progress history. Videos
are stored privately in your account and are accessible only through short-lived signed links.
Athlete profiles — names, birth year, and sex that you choose to enter to power
age- and sex-appropriate combine benchmarks. You control these and can delete them at any time.
Usage and diagnostics — basic app activity and crash/performance data used to keep
the app working and improve it. This is not linked to advertising identifiers.
Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription, provided by Apple/our
billing processor. We never receive your full payment card details.
How we use information
To provide and improve the coaching features you request: analyzing your clips, generating cues and
scores, tracking progress, powering the AI chat coach with your own analysis history, managing your
subscription, and providing support. We do not use your training videos to build advertising profiles, and
we do not use them to train third-party models.
How your data is stored and shared
Your data is stored on our infrastructure providers under access controls (row-level security) so that only
you can read your own records. We share data only with service providers that help us run CoachMe, strictly to
provide the service:
Supabase — authentication, database, and private video storage.
RevenueCat / Apple — subscription management and in-app purchases.
Anthropic — powers the optional AI chat coach; only the analysis context needed to
answer your question is sent, and it is not used to train their models.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
Children and youth athletes
CoachMe is built for youth, high-school, and club athletes and is intended to be set up and managed by a
parent, guardian, coach, or the athlete where age-appropriate. We do not knowingly collect more information
than needed to provide coaching, we do not show behavioral advertising, and children's footage stays private
inside the account. If you believe a child's information has been provided without appropriate consent,
contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Delete your account — Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account,
athletes, analyses, and videos. You can also email us to request deletion.
Access and correction — you can view and edit your athlete profiles in the app, or
contact us for a copy of your data.
Permissions — camera, microphone, and photo access are used only for recording and
importing training clips, and can be revoked in your device settings at any time.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your videos,
analyses, athlete profiles, and account record. Backups are purged on a rolling basis.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
